 Halloween is coming ~ my spouses favorite holiday of the year! He loves to go all out decorating the house ~ we seem to somehow have endless storage space for Halloween decorations but whoa is me if I come home with something 'season and pretty' that needs storage. 

Needless to say he is always ecstatic when I get out my Halloween stamp stash and get to making Halloween Decor for the house and for the kiddies who come trick or treating. 

The Trick or Treat favor boxes are awesome for the daycare Halloween party ~ I usually fill them with stickers, stamps and Halloween tattoos.

For the trick or treaters who come door to door I usually opt for a hand stamped tag and we have a selection of treats we hand out depending on the age of the trick or treater.

Saying Thank You ~ makes Scents

Just wanted to share a previous example of some custom ordered thank you card designs I had made for a wonderful Scentsy consultant to share with her team and customers ~ I love my Scentsy and making these cards were so super fun to do.

 

In my opinion nothing says THANK YOU like a hand stamped card to show someone that you truly appreciate them ~ and what is even better is when it's a card that can tie in your company branding and help your customer remember you not just for  your excellent customer service but for your thoughtful card as well!  

The possibilities for creative custom thank you cards and materials for your business are endless ~ this is the inside of a card sample that holds a business card inside so it does not 'get lost' for new customers or it can be used as a 'welcome card' for potential hostesses.

Festive Flurries

Working on my custom card requests ... have a few for "snowflake" themed cards perfect excuse to bring out my Festive Flurries set.

Must say I am enjoying this stamp set immensely - it is so fun to create with and so many options of card designs and styles too - loving the blue inks we have out right now too ... Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Island Indigo seriously just their names are fun :)

Take Heart Tea Tags

Had so much fun creating these custom tags for Take Heart Canada .... Deb's won the 10 custom cards in our Triple D's Run for the Cure online auction and we truly appreciate her support in helping us to raise $724!

I was excited when she said she would like something 'tea themed' to use as tags on her new 'trivets' for her business because it gave me a chance to play with the Tea Shoppe stamp set that I had bought with intention of creating lots of cool scrapbook layouts and some tea tin bling but have not had a chance to play with it yet ~ this gave me the push I needed to get my creative funk on ~ I loved how they turned out. 

Take Heart Canada owner Deb is a local mompreneur whose family based business offers  a heartfelt and unique way to express love to children and comfort them when you are apart. Her wonderful comfort hearts are for children and adults too and are perfect for anytime we are apart from those we love. Memorial hearts are also available and a perfect way to include children in funeral services, memorials and celebrations of life. They also now make adorable felt ball necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings (including clip on). Sweet Sweets

Working on some pink ink chocolate bar wrappers to sell at our fundraising table this weekend - took great restraint not to eat my work!

Wicked Cool treat holders

Well I had so much fun making the Pink Ink Chocolate Hope treat holders that I decided to whip up a few Spooky Halloween treat holders for the kiddies too ~ these would be so quick and easy to make up to send with the kiddies to school at Halloween or as 'favors' for a Halloween party.

Featuring the now retired Wicked Cool stamp set which was just to wicked cool to be retired but obviously I do not get to pick and choose what gets sent into retirement ~ but thankfully I am free to keep retired product for my personal stash!

Chocolate HOPE

These were so fun to make ~ little Pink Ink Chocolate Hope Treat holders for our CIBC Fundraising vendor shows coming up this month ~ featuring the Fight Like a Girl Hope Ribbon stamp and paired with Strength and Hope stamp set and the little Papillion Butterfly from Stampin' Up!

Rock-n-Roll Fun

Technique Tuesday was a rock-n-roll blast this week ~ in addition to our technique card we made two wonderful cards for participants to take home and share this coming holiday season! 

Our first card featured the Snow Day stamp set ~  this little dude is just so stinking cute and he makes me want to sing Frosty the Snowman and drink hot chocolate! I just love how our Dazzling Diamonds glitter looks like glistening snow ~ perfect accent for this set!

Our second card featured the Ornaments Keepsake stamp set which is so lovely it got carried over from last years holiday mini ~ I really love how the rock-n-roll technique looks on this card and the Lovely as a Tree stamp set is a perfect compliment for this set as the ornaments dangle off the branches! I also want to say a huge thank  you to class participants for showing their own creative flare and rock-n-rolling their branches as well with two tones of green ~ it really gave the branches depth and realism and if I recreate this card in the future I am so going to be borrowing that idea!
