Inspired by an Invitation ...

Anyone whose stamped with me knows I love any reason to get my extra BLING on when making hand stamped projects and this grogeous wedding card was no exception!

I got totally inspired by Candice and Matt's lovely wedding invitation which reminded me of the wonderful now retired but still loved French Foilage stamp set ... this was a perfect reason to bring it back out from my retired collection!

I created some gorgeous little flower embellishments using the 1 3/4" Scallop circle and Boho Blossoms punches. Quickly sponged their edges with either Wild Wasabi or Pink Pirouette inks and than spritzed them with Smooch spray adhering them together with our glimmer brads or candy dot brads and scattered them along the stamped leaves using glue dots ... just love the effect this created of a flowering bush.

The Papillion Potpourri butterflies were stamped on vanilla card stock with Pink Pirouette ink and easily punched out with the Elegant and Bitty butterfly punches and some rhinestone bling used to accent their bodies. They float nicely around the Word Play 'Happy I Do Day' sentiment which has been punched out with the Wide Oval punch and framed nicely with the Designer Frames oval embossing folder .... creating what I hope is a stunning wedding card for my little cousin and his bride on their big day!

Sending out some love and light today to both Matt and Candice ... I am so excited to be able to share their special day with them!

Triumphant Technique Tuesday

Had a blast this week with our Faux Patina technique class ~ I just LOVE the vintage look of this technique and it is so quick and easy to do yet yeilds a stunningly beautiful effect card recievers will think you worked for hours to create this beauty!

The card to the left here features our elegant bouquet embossing folder and the color combination of Crumb Cake, Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Early Espresso with a little simmering accent Champange glimmer paper punched with the Elegant  Butterfly and a splash of color with the Itty Bitty butterfly punch overlaid and some half back pearls to give it some bling and the sentiment is from Perfectly Penned!

Than this beauty over here to the right just looks so striking specially in person ~ like a shimmery copper!

Showcasing our Honeycomb embossing folder with the color scheme of Crumb cake, Brown Sugar, Crisp Canteloupe and Cajun craze this card also features my FAVORITE stamp set at the moment ~ Secret Garden which comes with some amazing Edgelit die cuts to allow you to quickly cut the flowers out if you'd like ~ I have some cards coming up later this week that showcase just how gorgeous this set is and how fun it is to water color ... just look at these gorgeous flowers and shimmery coppery effect ... and the little butterfly is divine who would not feel extra special opening up an envelope and finding this beauty ... you too could be giving out gorgeous cards like this just come out to a class and check it out?

Would also like to extend a warm welcome to a new friend and wonderful talent joining the stamping table ~ Sherry from Sherry's Custom Cakes! I am not sure who is more excited about the idea but Sherry is going to be combing Stampin' with her cake making PLUS she also features GLUTEN FREE cakes .... which well let me tell you has me tickled pink with anticipation to have both my favorite things in one place stamps and gluten free baking ... I think I am in heaven!

Swallowtail Fun

I love the Swallowtail stamp and was so happy it carried over into the new catty ... so when our team meeting theme challenge this month was 'something fun' well of course Swallowtail was first stamp to pop into my head ... and well the new In Color Coastal Cabana just makes me want to dance so put them together and well I am one happy stamper!

I made two versions of the same card for tomorrow nights team meeting to show case a clean and simple card and a stepped up option ...
The 'clean and simple' card is designed to take less than 10 minutes to stamp, embellish and assemble while still being striking and a treat for anyone to open.

It is hard to see but the great thing about the new 'ink pads' from Stampin' Up! is that they are so juicy you can quickly add embossing powder to any of them and it will stick ~ so the butterflies are embossed with Iridescent Ice!

I added some paper piercing in the one corner to balance the card out and the little stamp is the Bitty Butterfly punch and the Papilion Potpourri stamp set.

My second card is a stepped up card ... added the extra step of stamping a second image and cutting it out so the butterfly can fly off the page and of course some bling cause bling is just FUN with rhinestones and pearls on the butterfly!

If you would like to make this card for a loved one and earn free product while you are at it remember all you have to do is book a 'private workshop' and invited your friends over to your house or mine and share the joy of stampin' ... I do all the card prep for you!

More Amore ~ how can I love this more?

How gorgeous is this More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper ~ if you love it as much as I do you better act fast cause it is only available in the Current Mini catty until May 31st!

I just had so much fun with this DSP using accents from the Artisan Embellishment kit, the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set and Framelt which just go so perfectly

The Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punch and the Swallowtail butterfly stamp as well as Papillion Potpourri all help to add wonderful texture and bling to this fun little lay out!
