I am loving this new Sheltering Tree Stamp set from the Occasions mini and it is a great stamp set for doing the Rock -n- Roll technique with ... in the video they use two tones of green for a subtle rock -n- roll but you could do a light green with a rock of color depending on the time of year your card is going out ~ pink for floral in the spring, oranges or reds for the Fall or White for a dust of snow in the beginning of Winter!

Putting a Punch in Pancake Tuesday

Loving the weekly deal options up for Pancake Tuesday and the yellow ribbon and punches are great offerings for start of Mardi Gras celebrations!

I was inspired by this fellow demonstrators 'Mardi Gras' creation ... love how she combined the Mustache die and Four Feathers to create a Mardi Gras mask ... I totally want to recreate something like this but for a scrapbook layout for Mardi Gras style fun my other half had when he was in New Orleans!

Saying Thank You ~ makes Scents

Just wanted to share a previous example of some custom ordered thank you card designs I had made for a wonderful Scentsy consultant to share with her team and customers ~ I love my Scentsy and making these cards were so super fun to do.

 

In my opinion nothing says THANK YOU like a hand stamped card to show someone that you truly appreciate them ~ and what is even better is when it's a card that can tie in your company branding and help your customer remember you not just for  your excellent customer service but for your thoughtful card as well!  

The possibilities for creative custom thank you cards and materials for your business are endless ~ this is the inside of a card sample that holds a business card inside so it does not 'get lost' for new customers or it can be used as a 'welcome card' for potential hostesses.

Have a Habby Birthday

Anyone who knows me knows that I always love a good challenge ~ so I can admit getting a custom card order that featured a Montreal Canadians theme had me momentarily stumped and helped me to stretch my creative thinking to new levels! 

It paid off I think cause I just LOVE how this card turned out, in my humble opinion the photo does not do it justice, it is so shiny just like fresh from the Zamboni ice! 

I choose to use the Faux Glass technique to create an 'ice feel' on the card and chose a color scheme to mimic the centre line with their logo as the focal point. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Perfectly Penned and of course you cannot leave the envelope naked so I punched out another logo and glued it on the front of the envelope! 

Sure hope that the recipient of the card has an amazing birthday when the time comes and that he too loves his special custom made card in honor of his favorite team.
