Glittering Gift Ornaments

I saw the tutorial for these over on Created by You website and just had to make some for myself - gorgeous, glimmer rich Gift-box ornaments using the Stampin' Up Bitty Box and Envelope die!

I tweaked the design a little bit to make it my own first by making use of some really pretty Chrystal's I found on sale at Micheal's for a few of them as seen in this one here.

A couple of them I added the pearl accent from our Stampin' Up Simply Adorned Jewellery collection to showcase how you can use the 'gift box' ornament to house the Simply Adorned jewellery!

The accent piece features our paper daisies which were smooch sprayed with Vanilla Smooch and a Cherry Cobbler scallop circle tucked in behind it and accented with a 3/4 inch red glimmer circle and a darling Vintage Brad to hold it together!

These are just amazing on the Christmas tree and the ornament still  works as a gift box and will hold the Simple Adorned jewellery, some some specially chocolates or other Lottery tickets or some other fun gift you come up with!

If you love the look of this and would like a chance to make one in time for Christmas just make sure to RSVP to December's Stamp A Stack on Saturday December 17th from 1-4. A Holiday Stamp a Stack which will be featuring paper crafting ornaments for your tree and personalized gift bags for your loved ones!

Paisley Petals Card Swap

This is one of the cards from this months 'step it up' card class with my upline Liz Goldhawk .... even though I am my own demo I still love sharing with others and getting out to be inspired by my upline!

This card Liz showcased the Paisley Print Designer Series Paper, Paper Daisies, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon and the Four Frames Stamp set with the Decorative punch.

The Paisley Petals is just such pretty paper it needs little accents to it ... striking indeed!

Ode to My Kitty

A huge thank you to Leah Fedynak over om My Digital Studio for the inspiration of my attempt at a circle page ... I think she started a MDS explosion of people wanting to think outside the 'box' so to speak ... I just loved the 'circle shape' as a switch up to the traditional square layout.

My wonderful kitty - who now keeps my mom company cause she found sharing me with others too much and I wanted her to be happy and have someone who could give her undivided attention - she is a one person in the home cat!

Playing with my New Digital Downloads

I admittedly was going through withdrawal these past few weeks waiting on Sale-a-bration to download some of the new awesome downloads that just came out! I was also eagar to try out the new technique of Coloured Paper Daisy by Connie Collins I recently saw on My Digital Studio!

This layout features the My Digital Studio downloads of: Spring Time Vintage Designer Series Paper, Vintage Flower Adornments, Tasteful Trim Bigz Die download, Charming brush set , Seam binding ribbon and the Paper Daisies embellishments!

A perfect combination to showcase some Vintage photos of my Mom and her siblings from 1946 ... although I imagine my mother does not want to be thought of as 'Vintage' .... but she sure is one of a kind!
